Editorial Policy

Editorial Policy of Web Digital PR
How we create, review, and publish content on Web Digital PR. We believe in being transparent about how this platform works.
Table of Contents
Our Editorial Mission
Web Digital PR exists to give businesses a credible platform to share their news and to give professionals a reliable source of industry information. We publish content across business, technology, finance, healthcare, eCommerce, and several other sectors.
Our goal is simple: every piece of content published on this platform should be accurate, relevant, and genuinely useful to the reader. We hold ourselves to this standard whether we are writing a news article, publishing a guest opinion, or distributing a press release.
Types of Content We Publish
Web Digital PR publishes the following types of content:
- News articles covering business, technology, finance, startups, and other industries
- Press releases submitted by businesses and organisations
- Expert opinions and insights contributed by industry professionals
- Industry reports and market trends based on publicly available data and research
- Interviews with founders, executives, and subject matter experts
- Announcements from companies across all sectors
Each content type follows its own set of guidelines, but all of them go through our editorial review before being published.
Our Review Process
Every piece of content published on Web Digital PR, without exception, goes through an editorial review before it goes live. This applies to articles written by our own team as well as content submitted by external contributors and businesses.
During the review, we check for the following:
- Factual accuracy and verifiable claims
- Clear and readable language
- Relevance to our audience
- Proper attribution of sources and quotes
- Compliance with our editorial standards and content guidelines
- No misleading statements, exaggerated claims, or unverified data
Content that does not meet our standards is either returned to the author for revision or declined. We do not publish content simply because it has been submitted or paid for.
In-House and Guest Contributors
Our content comes from two sources: our in-house editorial team and external guest contributors.
In-house content is written and edited entirely by our team. We are responsible for the accuracy, tone, and fairness of everything produced internally.
Guest contributors are industry professionals, subject matter experts, and writers who submit articles, opinions, or analysis for publication. Guest content is always clearly labelled so readers know it represents the contributor’s own views and not the official position of Web Digital PR.
Guest contributors are required to disclose any affiliations, interests, or relationships that could influence their content. We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, length, and compliance with our guidelines before publishing.
We do not accept guest content that is purely promotional, thinly disguised advertising, or designed to manipulate search rankings rather than genuinely inform readers.
Press Release Submissions
Web Digital PR accepts press releases from businesses of all sizes, across all industries. We offer both free and paid submission options.
Free submissions are reviewed and published at our editorial discretion. Submitting a press release for free does not guarantee publication. We publish free submissions that are genuinely newsworthy, well-written, and relevant to our audience.
Paid submissions receive priority review and guaranteed publication, provided the content meets our basic editorial standards. Paying for a submission does not allow bypassing our review process entirely. We will not publish content that contains false claims, is defamatory, or violates our content guidelines, regardless of whether it is a paid submission.
Payment ensures priority and publication. It does not mean we will publish content that is inaccurate, misleading, or harmful. Our editorial standards apply equally to free and paid submissions.
All published press releases are clearly labelled as press releases so readers understand they represent the submitting company’s own statements and have not been independently verified by our editorial team beyond basic compliance checks.
Accuracy and Corrections
We take accuracy seriously. Before publishing, our team verifies claims where possible and flags content that contains unverifiable statements for revision.
Despite our best efforts, errors can occasionally occur. If you spot a factual error in any article published on Web Digital PR, we encourage you to report it to us. We will investigate promptly and, if the error is confirmed, issue a correction on the original article with a clear note explaining what was changed and why.
We do not silently edit articles after publication. Any correction or update is transparently noted at the top or bottom of the article along with the date it was made.
Editorial Independence
Our editorial decisions are made independently. Advertisers, sponsors, and businesses that pay to submit press releases have no influence over our news coverage, editorial opinions, or the way we report on any topic.
If a company advertises on Web Digital PR, that relationship has no bearing on how we cover news about that company or its industry. We will not alter, suppress, or slant editorial content in exchange for advertising revenue or any other commercial consideration.
Conflicts of Interest
We ask all contributors, both in-house and guest, to disclose any potential conflicts of interest before their content is published. This includes financial relationships, employment, investments, or any personal connection to the subject they are writing about.
Where a conflict of interest exists and the content is still published, that conflict will be disclosed clearly within the article so readers can weigh the information accordingly.
Content We Do Not Publish
Regardless of who submits it or how it is submitted, we will not publish content that:
- Contains false, fabricated, or deliberately misleading information
- Is defamatory toward any individual, company, or group
- Promotes illegal activities or products
- Contains hate speech, discrimination, or harassment of any kind
- Is plagiarised or reproduces copyrighted material without permission
- Is purely promotional with no informational value for the reader
- Is designed to manipulate search engines rather than inform people
- Makes unverifiable medical, financial, or legal claims presented as fact
Submissions that fall into any of these categories will be declined without exception.
